The first pic is the one in the truck now installed its just dark out I had the new one installed but could not get the couplings hooked up so had to take out fits right in the same spot as the leaking one should be alot more efficient I think though will post pic of new one in thou
I wanna go with one of those myself and get rid of the air to air. But honestly I cant complain about my intake temps. 111* at full boost when crossing the traps isnt too bad.
Those intake temps your getting are they from before the turbo in the intake or in the charge pipe in front of the throttle body I have actually probed the boost pipe before and it was 76 out with a charge temp of 78 at throttle was using ice in water tank got so ambient air at 8 psi isn't bad they are extremely efficient
Reading mine from right in front of the TB. Its weird cause if I look at my IAT sensor with diablo i'm like 30* off of what the iems3 says. Idk who to believe, but I have maybe 1 spot of like 1.5* of knock for a split second
30* diff is not bad the stock sensor is not going to pick up the heated charge air and 30* means you cooler is working decent if they match each other before and after turbo under boost makes max power and would be the best
