High Amp Alternator

Has anyone installed the Dodge Ram 5.7 Hemi higher amp alternator? Part number?

Believe my alternator is getting ready to go bad on the 03. While testing & tuning the other night with everything on but the a/c. Noticed the amps where lower on the gauge. That's when I noticed a little lower fuel pressure also. Humm... With my extra performance accessories, two fans, electric water for intercooler, water/meth, and second fuel pump. They have a heavy draw on the alternator.

Cheap alternative is the 180a Alternator from a HEMI Durango. OEM is 136a

Does the alternator have any identifying numbers on it to identify what amp it is?

Extra amps is just more drag making more lost power! The stock alternator is fine I have all the same stuff even had a huge stereo in the truck on the stock 135a one. If it is not broke don't fix it. The amps have nothing to do with fuel pressure soon as you rev the engine the alternator will make more than enough voltage to stabilize everything in the truck. Unless you run a huge draw like bass stereo don't bother.
