Yeah all well and good as long as that's not flammable stuff lol and it should be a pulsed hook up not straight battery that's a sure way to dry an injector winding

Isn't 12v too much for the injectors? They operate at a lower voltage don't they?

Used a 9v battery to flush the stage 1 caliber injectors from a spare wiring harness. Had the fuel rails hooked up to the trucks fuel system. Definitely made a difference with cleaner out injectors even though it was with just bleed off pressure. Have a power supply bypass for the fuel pump now. So now I can really flush out the fuel injectors with 58psif.

No they actually get running voltage around 13.4-14.5v bit they are on for milliseconds so they don't build heat. They are controlled by ground in the pcm. I have an injector tester at work I use to check pressure drop and it sounds like a machine gun clicking it's relay to pulse the injector to spray

I actually have a kit something lke that. Mine you hook up to the fuel rail and pull the fuel pump fuse. The start the engine and let it run off the can of cleaner
