I run mine in D for dumb doing the burn out lol! Then I manually take the shifter to 1 shift at 6200 completes at 6500 range shift 2-D at 6200 then when third is about to 5000 I pull it back to 2 and run thru the traps at about 6500 rpm once thru put in D and let it do its own down shifting.

No..... Take it out of tow/haul when racing on the street or track. It's very bad on your trans when doing spirited(burn out) driving or racing down the track in tow/haul.

You need a gate shifter.... that's way too busy for me.

Please explain "very bad".
Wouldn't a transmission mode for towing and hauling put your tranny in a better mode for romping on it?
