Catching Up

On Jan. 21, 2014 we received word that our home went through final construction inspection and was approved for occupancy. We have already enjoyed spending some time in our new home putting up window coverings, installing a surround sound, lifting heavy new and used furniture into place and watching several "Winter Storms" pass by. Needless to say, we are still packing back and forth between AZ and CO with loads of stuff. With all this packing comes the hours we have spent and are spending on the road. 12 hours via the "Four Corners" route and 13 1/2 via "Santa Fe, NM" way. There has been little to no free time for me. I am not really complaining by no means. I rather wake up in the morning with a plan to do something that pushes me thru the day and from the looks of it, I'll have plenty to do for the next year or so. Of course, this has been the biggest "Show Stopper" from seeing me regularly on HTC. On another venue, there is no lack of HEMI owners in the area where I moved. As soon as all applications is applied to the needs in my life, I may get around to striking up some conversations with these owners.

Thanks Ryan. This has been a trying last 2 years for sure. I suppose if someone was to ask me, "Would I do in all over again?"...I most certainly would say "Yes, I would do it all over again." A new life, a new beginning, is always good. :-)

Weeeeeeeeell thanks guys! It's becoming more and more like home each time we go up for a few weeks at a time. Most all the "Honey-Do" gigs have been done inside and the last time we were up there I was moving rock and trimming trees. I was going to shoot photos of the home on our last day there and post. Decided instead, to finish moving rock and pull cactus. Next time. We are returning early May to install deck skirting, spread color landscape gravel, plant a few indigenous growies, trim more trees, move more rock and put in pavers. I love it! No...Really! The cream to all this is I lose a few pounds when I apply myself to this project and there is nothing wrong with that.
