Windshield wax

Has anyone tried it? I just did my and I am curious to see how it's gonna work...glass is smooth as hell and crystal clear as well. Curious as to the results vs rain x which iv used for years.cleaned good with Windex and dryer with a microfibre...then used meguires carnuaba paste wax and buffed till pretty...never heard of it until today.

I use to wax the windshield of my Camaro and my Z71. Very rarely ever turned on the wipers even when playing in the mud with the Z71.

I've waxed my share of windshields, but not recently. Rain-X seems to work well, but it does wear off when the wipers are used. I offset that with the Rain-X blades.

My brother does all of his outside glass and mirrors. Good job! You could also put the Rain-x brand windshield fluid. That works well.

Ouch! Here, blades are ~$16, wash is < $3. I forget how much the Rain-X is, but probably < $8.

Sad to report longivity isn't there...after a week it's very noticeable that it doesn't bead as well. O well I'm only out 20 mins of time on this one.
