What year is your truck? Have you checked the weather stripping around the door to see if its okay?

I had a Dakota that sound like a horn going off at 80.I brought it in and dealer said not allowed to do 80 to check it.I pulled relay to horn and still did it.It was not the horn,it was air wiping around seal. They changed the seal and it got louder.I put a hole in the bottom of the door panel and it worked.Fixed the horn sound.

My truck is an 03. I've looked and cleaned the stripping around the door. When you use the heater fan its more noticeable.

Do you still have the foam blocks on the A pillar? They are mounted on the outsidfe of the A pillar about mirror level. If these are gone wind will go right up that channel and into the cab.

Just went through this with my 03 and the factory door seals are wrong, they were all supposed to be changed out maybe yours werent. the part where the front of the door touches was ripping the seals so they came out with a new style. something to check on

My '05 had this problem and the dealership replaced the door seals. There is actually a technical service bulletin that addresses the problem. But it specifies the '04-'05 models. I guess the '03 models had the same problem.

I'll bet it's the weather stripping. Had to replace mine too.
