Rollpan Welding and Painting Help

Okay, so I got my rollpan on, but it's black and my truck is white... I want it welded on and painted, but I'm having a problem finding someone I can trust to get the job done.

I got a quote from a custom shop here in Fort Worth to do it for $500, but is that a good deal, bad deal, or TOO good of a deal?

Anyone know someone in the DFW area that can do this for fairly inexpensive and do a good job as well???

If I can get a hold of the body shop manager at the shop my dealer uses, I will ask him.

$500 doesnt sound too bad considering all of the work involved. They have to remove the paint around the pan so there is a good contact patch to weld to, make sure everything is straight, and then blend the paint in. Good bodywork isnt cheap, and cheap bodywork isnt good.

I just posted about a week ago about mansfield paint and body. If you look down a bit in the paint forum, you will find it. They are very good and reputable. If i were you, i would definately go there....you wont be dissapointed. PM me for info and who to speak with.

Just remembered something....they did a rollpan on a friend of mines wife's truck. It was welded in, and i LOVE the look. It was rearended later and if i remember right they had to replace a quarterpanel along with the rollpan and maybe the tailgate too....like i said, you wont be dissapointed and all their work is lifetime warrantied. http://mansfieldpaintandbody.com/

Yeah, I wasn't saying TOO cheap... Just kinda shopping around for the best deal and for someone who really cares about my truck and what I'm doing.

I'll definitely give them a buzz and see what they say!

Thanks everyone!!
