I saw this mentioned on another forum and was curious if anyone here has tried. In the pursuit of getting rid of all exterior chrome, someone mentioned painting the chrome step bars with bedliner paint? I was wondering if you guys think it would stick to the chrome. I have the factory bedliner so it wouldn't be out of place, and I think it would add better grip compared to the slick chrome.

So I started this today. I'm almost done with the first one. Just letting it dry for a bit. I'll get some pictures up when I'm done.

Here's a before.

Here's one without them, which I like...but I missed having the steps getting in and out.

And some afters and close-ups.

And of course as soon as I'm done scuffing them with sandpaper, I see this...

Do you guys think the Dupli-Color Shadow would be okay to use on our chrome-clad wheels?
