That's pretty sweet. I used a TCI "FastGate".

That one looks nice too. Did you need to make a mounting bracket/stand like I did ? Did your truck have a removable hatch/plate in the floor ? I wasn't expecting to see that when I peeled back the rug. Almost screwed up my whole mounting bracket design, but I made it work

Yes had to make a mounting plate and then spaced the plate up using 3/4" nuts as spacers. I put a hole in the floor for mine. What's neat is most any 3 spd shifter will work. I had a easier job adjusting the shifter for the 545 trans to work than I did with the 46RH trans. The 46RH trans being just a 727 with OD and lockup converter.

That's one reason why I don't want a new Ram. I'm not into the select a gear knob thing they have now. It's easy with the older ones. What did you do for your OD button ? I took the button out of the stock selector lever and mounted it in the steering column cover, just above the ignition switch. I also bought the steering column cover from a manual trans ram/Dakota. That did away with the left over hole from the old lever. On my R/T, I used the pistol grip version of the 1/4 stick. Also on a custom bracket. That one had a red button in the handle, so that's what I wired to the O/D. Used the manual column cover swap there too.
