So, today, thanks to the insane winds here in Colorado and a careless construction crew, a giant cardboard box blew against my truck. I don't know how long it was there before I saw it. Long enough for it to scuff my clearcoat in a pretty good section. I'll post pics tomorrow in good light. Anyone have recommendations on what to use to buff it out?

That sucks. I don't have a solution except that I take my old girl in to the body shop I have used over the last few years and have her freshened up time to time. I have lost count how many coats of clear I have on her now.

thaaat sucks man I'm sorry to hear that. If you don't want to try it yourself I'd advise going to a body shop and talking to them about it, if its not to far into the clear they can buff it out.

First I would see if the construction comapny has insurance.
Depending on how big the area is...Meguire's makes some stuff called ScratchX that is pretty good on some areas.

Thanks for the info guys. We had a high of 19 degrees over the weekend, so I didn't try anything with it. Supposed to be in the 50s this weekend, so we'll see.
