Finally got my fender flares

I didn't see a section to recognize good sellers to deal with when selling and buying but I wanted to give a shout out to "Mikespeed6". I bought a set of OEM fender flares from him at a great price and im VERY happy with them. They're actually in better condition than I had expected. He even put a name tag on the box with a bow for me. It was like opening a Christmas present...lol

Any tricks to putting these things on that I should know about? What keeps them tight at the top? And do they just fasten where the inner fender fastens or is there some sort of brackets I need that pulls them tight to the fender? Also, I thought about sealing the top of the flares with some sort of caulking or double sided tape. Any thoughts?

I installed aftermarket fender flares many years ago and all I can say is I wouldn't do it again. With that said I would recommend you test fit each flare and make sure if there is any trimming of the fenders needed that you are ok with cutting them. Don't get caught up with the project to where you cut something you wish you hadn't. After test fitting everything and you are satisfied with going forward then remove them and get them painted and do the final install. Good luck, need some pictures.

I don't know the owner of this truck, but he has a super nice AWD 05 Ram.

These are OEM. They fit pretty perfect actually. I was originally going to paint them white to match the truck but I think im gonna leave them black because with the vent visors and black trim it looks pretty good

Hopefully ill be able to install them in a week or so

Greg, do you happen to know what type of wheels those are? I really like the look.
Got a little old school Keystone Classic look.

The site he listed his truck on had the full build, but that was several years ago and I haven't been able to find it again. So no I don't know what they are. I do remember it was an 2005 AWD model that he found and had shipped to him. Those rims may not have the offset to fit under the fenders. But I don't really know.

You cannot use enough 3M Tape when putting them on. Any plastic part that rubs paint with eventually remove the paint.

Sound advice learned about dodge fender flares over the years.
