I replaced my door lock assembly today. When the door locked it would create a grinding noise. Job not *** bad as it seemed. Take the door handle off with a T-40 torx take the door handle off and four phillips screws, gently pry up door control panel, then lift door panel off. take the plastic lose, fold over and tape it down. I used a small crooked pointed thing to insert into the plastic clip to pry it lose from the rods(4). Used T-35 Torx to take off three screws on end of door jam to disconnect the assembly. Moved around to bring up through hole and disconnect the wire harness. Reversed procedure to install. Trick for door handle rod is to take spring off door handle to release pressure to the rod so you can move the rod freely. Don't forget to put spring back in place before you put the door panel back on.
