Console Removal - Easy

I purchased a new auto-dimming mirror on ebay and I installed it today. Not knowing what to expect, I'm posting removal of the overhead console, lowering of the headliner and because my truck is an SLT, it already had the wiring harness for the mirror taped on top of the headliner. 6 pictures explains it all.

Picture one is of the overhead console light lens removed. You'll see the pivot points and mounting tab which is easily removed with a small, thin screwdriver:

The next two pics show the sunvisor support. Simply pull down on the forward half and the support stays attached to the headliner, but the headliner can now be pulled down: This message has been edited. Ooops, good point. The mirror is perfect! Tried and tested and works great, something I've missed since I traded my '97 Ram in. And it was as advertised, brand spankin' new too. $138.00 at the dealership, $20.50 on ebay plus $4.95 shipping. Great deal.

Thanks again for your help!

Hey Pup. Can you tell me real quick if there's a spring behind those light covers or something? Last night I reached up to turn on the left one then turned it back off when I was done and felt something give, now it feels loose in there and won't "click" If you push on it it just flops around in there. Feels like a spring popped out of the switch or something.
