Ok, all you OCD Hemi truck owners. How do you keep everything under the hood looking so good. I've never worried about this with other trucks that I've owned. Tips and hints greatly appreciated. I'm going to be installing a Vararam intake soon, figure I'd better change my nasty ways.

The biggy is to keep it from getting to bad in the first place. I always washed mine off at the car wash. Being careful not to hit the intake or electrical plugs directly.
For shows I used a product called CoversAll. Makes everything shine like new money.
A little extra paint on some of the unpainted parts helps too. Colored electrical tape and polished or chrome nuts replaced the factory ones. 47 blue LED's helped a little.
Anything I can help you with just send me a PM.

This was an early picture. I also painted the overflow tank, washer fluid tank and power steering tank. A few pin stripes on the brake fluid tank helped too.

One trick I use is Simple green as we use in the Army, or and a good degeaser, spray it on, let sit, and rinse off, then onec dry I pray down my engine with Armor All, and drive to the car show I am going to. then wipe down with a rag for a good shine. here is the finished product.

One of our members use to make them a number of years ago. There are some "knock offs" to be found but the quality isn't there. one of our sponsors use to have something similar but I know a couple of member's bought them and they didn't fit. GoManGo had one for sale not long ago. Aaron has mine.

I tried the simple green, it cleaned things up nice but I got some rust once all the protective grease was washed away! I think they make something to spray on after using a degreaser, I won't use simple green again until I figure out what it is.
