The blower motor that sits underneath the right side of my glove box quit working on the one day I had to travel to another fire station in my district and it happened to be hot. After getting pissed at it, I hit it with my hand and it seems to have worked from that point on. Does anyone know if there is an in-line filter in the vent system or is there a problem with the blower motors. My general warranty lapsed and now I am covered only by the limited lifetime powertrain warranty.

Over time the ac moisture gets into the motor and rusts the motor contact points and periodically they will cut out or not work at all If it works don't worry bout it if it stops kick it if that doesn't work change it out very simple 3 screws

Very easy to replace.
80-100 for the motor
60-75 for the resistor

You may not need the resistor but i changed it just to make sure. The contacts were pretty corroded
