Billet Door Lock Pins!

Just ordered a set from E-bay. Got them and man do they look sweeet! $15 not bad!

But, now I have a dilemma! The rear threaded rods that they screw onto seem to be longer than the front doors. So they look kinda goofy when the doors are closed and the rear ones stick up about 1/2" to 3/4" higher than the front ones. So I plan on cutting the threaded post to adjust for the hight diffrence.

Anyone else have this issue?

Yeh but I rest my arm up there and they dig into my arm. So I try and keep them level with the plastic so my arm slides across them smoothly.

I am going to order these pretty soon myself. If need be, I'll pop the door panel off and shorten the rod internally, then either weld or braze it back together depending on the type of material the rod is made of.

Just a pair of strong wire cutters will do the trick! Cut about 3/8" off of that bad boy and be on your way. It looks like a freaking wood screw thread! When i first saw it I was like WTH, they put wood screw in my door!

Awesome!! thanks. Whats the difference between the 25$ set and the 15$ set btw I have a quad cab. Somewhere in the forum people where complaining about having to buy a set of four, for their reg cab but you can get away with only two!?
