Bed rug for 3rd gen short bed?

Hey guys so I've been checking out some accessories for my truck and I've been pretty hooked on the bed rug when Stacy David had it in his Ram Express and was just wondering if anyone has it or if they make it for 3rd gen (if a difference, mine is an 03') shortbox? Thanks

I love mine. It was on the truck when I bought it. It's handled water, sand, mulch, etc. I usually keep it pretty clean, but stuff happens.

You know who makes it? and thats the thng is that currently I have no tonneau cover and a plastic bed liner but I'll keep the plastic liner in my backyard for dirt or work and use the carpet otherwise.

It's made by Bed Rug. As for remove and re-install, I'd be skeptical of that, at least long-term. The hook 'n' loop fasteners might not like that. I guess you could put the plastic liner in over the BR.

Oh ok. Also do you have a tonneau cover? I know these things are waterproof but still I'm skeptical on how well it can take rain.

Nevermind I actually just looked it up and they make ones that work with drop in plastic liners that only supply the bottom layer for the bed. A place near me is selling it for $80

The tonneau deals just fine with rain, even storms. I drove through driving rain, fog and mist while going to the Mecum Auction in Kissimmee.

Now, a hose directed toward the seal will get in to some degree.

Oh I meant how well does the rug handle rain? Chances are I'm probably not going to get one, cost too much mula

Since I have a tonneau, my Bed Rug isn't exposed to rain. Therefore, I can't answer your question.
