Aluminum Foil to Polish Chrome?

Has anyone ever heard of this? I'm not thinking of trying on the chrome plated plastic wheels on the Ram. But I am thinking of trying it on some real chrome wheels.

I'm also open to other suggestions. This is what I'm trying to get rid of...

Interesting. I have never heard of that before. I have a few small rust spots on my bumper. I will give this a try when the weather warms up a bit and let you know how it works.

Also I use Maguiers detail spray on my chrome clad wheels and it does a great job. You may have to use a little elbow grease but it should clean them up. Once they are cleaned up it is easy to maintain with the detail spray.

I use power tools to clean and wax mine but sometimes it just plain takes rubbing with chrome cleaner to get the job done. The wheels are always a pain to clean up each spring. I don't run mine in the winter but still no fun. I'll be doing mine weekend after next. ugh

I usually wipe mine down with the detail spray every time I wash my truck. Takes me around 20 mins. I let mine get really dirty and took a lot of elbow grease to get them clean. Lesson learned.
