Jho: I'm thinking of doing the same thin in mine. I'm looking at a Pioneer TS-SW2541D. It has an installed depth of only 4 inches and requires like .35 cubic feet sealed which it we seal the box we will get around, 0.248. The only other thing I founf that would work is a free air 8inch Kicker SSMB8, But that's an 8". I don't know what you found but let me know.

I'm not sure what that is but when you are done will you post pictures of your setup? I've been thinking about doing the same thing. What box did you go with? Thanks.

I was thinking of using the plastic tray that's already there and just cutting a hole in the bottom for the sub and sealing the top with a piece of something like mdf or so. I'm not sure if this is a good idea. I may have to build a custom MDF box the same size and fit it in the hole. I want to retain the seat and cusion so I want to try and just use the area underneath it.

I have a used 12" sub box that will fit between the seats for sale for $100 plus shipping if anybody is interested. Is covered in black carpet, made from MDF. Here's a couple of pics:

Installed. Had this mounted in my 03 Quad Cab, not sure if it will fit the 06-07 directly, but I am sure you can make it work.

I wouldn't think so. But I am not sure what that little box is either. Maybe it's the black box?
