Took truck over to dealer today so they could take pics and submit to dodge they tell me paint warrant is a shitty 3/36 and technically it's not covered but since mines pretty extreme there going to see what they can get dodge to do!!!

Yeah most manufacturers are usually a 3/36, at least they're putting forth some effort for you. I had clear coat going on my 07's rocker panels, attribute that to being beachside in FL not to mention our wonderfully constructed roadways

Chrysler products are notorious for thin clear coat along fender bends and roofs they need a lot of wax protection at work I constantly have cars in like this all day clear gone faded paint most likely neglect of washing but some just crap factory clear

my clear coat actually looks fine, its completely bubbled up like the paint didn't stick all the bubbles that have cracked have rust in them....no fade and the truck is waxed a lot...

dealer got back to me last week and said they weren't covering it since warranty is only 3/36
so i called dodge customer care they looked into it since its such a clean low mileage truck they got a body shop estimate and are going to cough up a portion of it..what exactly i don't know yet stay tuned......
