10" subwoofer location

I've got a 10" JL w-6 subwoofer from a previous vehicle. I'd like to put it in my RAM. Any ideas for location for box design. I'm pretty handy at building enclosures. Just wanting ideas. Thanks for any help. Jim

A single sub would work well in the center console.
By the way, welcome to the club.

Thanks big budda, i'm thinking in front of the cupholders of the rear seat. Didn't know if anyone had mounted a sub there or not.

Yup, that is the place. You can find pre-made ones on Ebay (of course) or through Google. JBL makes one complete with sub. You may want to contact them and see if they will ship you an empty one.

Since Lori has been pretty sick, I'll chime in for her... she took out her center lower seat, and put a pad on the top of the box, then put the flip-up console back on top. Other than it sitting maybe an inch higher, you'd never know it was there. She did a good job with it.

I have a hotbox fromt he guy on ebay. He will match your interior fabric for you. I have a 10" audiobahn alum10q in mine. Rumbles with a 600w amp to it. He can make the enclosure for a 10" or 12" woofer.

I lucked out and lifted up my back seat and found a custom built box built in under my rear passenger side seat. Also, my truck is alreaady wired for amp and two sets of components!
