The Review Mirror Fell Off

While on a short trip over the Thanksgiving Holiday I grabbed the review mirror to make an adjustment and it came completely UN-attached from the mount. Leaving the mirror hanging only from the wire harness. Fortunately I was close to a RAM dealership in OKC and they had it back on in less than 15 minutes. The service writer said that mine was the third 2013 that they had seen that had a mirror to do that.

My 07's mirror comes loose periodically, I just tighten the screw back up. Don't know why it keeps coming loose again...

No adhesive! There is a mechanical fastener that attaches mirror to the windshield. There is what looks like a bolt head attached to the windshield. I watched the guy re-mount the mirror. The outer plastic covers had to be removed in order to re-attach the mirror. After the mirror was in place, the plastic covers were re-installed.
