Spark Plugs for 2014 5.7

I am looking for information on the reason the 2014 calls out for the 100,000 plug? Has anyone deviated from the oem plug and used copper cores for replacement?

Use Champion or NGK Copper Core Spark Plugs...I prefer NGK but both are fine...the high dollar whiz bang plugs won't do anything magical for you IMO.

I'm giving the NGK 5306 a try. I like to do routine maintenance anyway so I don't prefer a really long life plug. I just didn't know if the 2014 ignition system required them for any real reason other than longevity. I think it's a selling point by claiming less cost to maintain vehicle.

I'm unable to find on the specs for the NGK 5306 if they like a never seez on the theards or if the theads are designed with that to not be used on aluminum heads.

I use a touch of antj-seize on the threads. Careful not to get any on the electrode.
