My 2011 1500 Big Horn quad cab came with coil instead of leaf springs

Are there conversion kits out there, if not how can I stiffen the coils when carring a load of the *** end does not drag?

2009 and up 1500s only have coils. Get air assist bags to haul more weight.

I threw my coils out and bagged the rear so I could lower it and still carry my wheelchair & lift plus tools, slicks, and other junk.

I don't use coils. I have rear air bags and I got my system used and very cheap.

Air Bags
Gauge Panel

I run a 1500 watt inverter so I have AC power. I use a Bostich 3 gal air compressor.

You can plumb the air bags like shocks if you don't want to buy a compressor & gauge panel. But plumb seperately so each side is independent of the other.

Talk to the airbagit.com guys about any questions you may have as they are very helpful.

Just installed my new TTC 1210 HD Coil springs. Rides a little stiffer which is to be expected but did not raise the back of the truck. The cost $240 and $20 shipping, not bad since they were shipped from British Columbia Canada. A good value. Ordered on the 9th got them on the 15.
