Parkview Rear Back up Camera-how?

How do you all use it when backing up?

To me, it gives a great view of what's going on, with a good wide screen shot.
But....
I'm finding that I'm still checking mirrors, turning head and then looking at the screen, back to mirrors/turning head/checking screen. It's almost sensory OCD overload. Ok...it is sensory OCD.

I get that my initial instinct when backing out of my driveway or into a parking spot still should be to look out each side for cross traffic, but I'm thinking once that's complete--just rely on the ole Navi-screen.

i use my mirrors and look to be sure and just use the cam to make sure tehre is nothing behind me as i have a huge blind spot behind the truck. i also love it for backing into parking spots. the little round convex mirrors are great to, to see where the back tires are.

Those are another thing I'm getting use to. The convex/blind spot mirror is about 1/5 the size of the regular mirror ( + 1 1/2" x 5") and I have noticed I've got a sizable blind spot w/ these mirrors that I didn't have w/ my other truck (w/ a small + 2x2 imbedded blind spot mirror) .

Mine also will tilt down when it goes into reverse--which helps see the back tire.

Just something to get use to, I guess.

When I drive vehicles with with a backup camera I still check the mirrors and use the backup camera just to make sure behind me is clear
