Oil pressure

I have a 2017 1500 5.7 with 3,300 miles on it thus far. I played around with manual shift the other day and there was a delay from where I was trying to shift and shifted itself and did the same in second gear...... Since then my oil pressure seems to have dropped some.... normally at operating temp. it reads 54psi at speed, now it's 51. Normally at idle its 42psi now it's 36. Is everything ok or am I being OCD about this? This is still the same oil it came from the factory with and the first time I've actually gotten in to it at full throttle

my 14 is about 50-55 driving around, idle is around 40ish. the short block has 75k on it.
as for the shift , this might be apples to oranges, I have the 6 speed.
mine delays a bit at WOT, depending on RPM, it's quicker at the higher rpms, but I think that it's more in the tune than the trans it's self...

Don't drive yourself crazy with the oil pressure it's fine. As for the shift it's likely just the torque management doing its thing again don't need worry about it.

I dont know what factory recommendations is, but on a fresh motor I run it a couple hundred miles and dump the oil.

I dont know about the 4th gen trucks, but on the 3rd gen trucks that have guages reading other than kPa are nothing more than a idiot light that disguised as a guage. If the pressure is above 6psi, the guage will read in the middle providing readings consistant with customer expectations. Straight out of the service manual....
