Misfiring?

I was driving home from work today and went to pass someone. When I put my foot down it kicked down a gear but felt like it was sputtering. Definitely no power there. I don't really notice it when I am driving normally only when I put my foot down. I just had my plugs replaced 3 months ago. Could it be a faulty plug?

No engine light if thats what you mean. Otherwise I have no way of checking without taking it in to the dealer. Or is there another way to check. I am obviously not very tech saavy when it comes to engines!

Without codes it makes it difficult to determine what is wrong. Was it just the one time or does it go flat everytime you drop a gear to accellerate?

I drove around for a bit before I came home and it did it every time. I did notice that when I was going slower (40km/h) and kicked it down into 1st it didn't seem to do it. It seems its only when it kicks down to 2nd gear. Very sluggish.

I also noticed when I am going 100 km/h or faster it doesn't seem to kick down to the gear it used to before. Instead of kicking down 2 gears (my guess) it only kicks down one. This only happened a few times.

I would recommend going over everything that was touched by your mechanic. Look in the airbox, which is a throw back some thirty years ago when I found a shop rag in mine. Remove the inlet airtube /top hat and see if the TB is obstructed or dirty. Then remove the ignition coil packs and check the plugs. I would put my money on something the mechanic did or didn't do is the problem. Pull everything apart and touch all your electrical connections. More than likely it is somethng simple just needs to be found. If you are under warranty then maybe just take it back to the dealer for the fix. Personally I don't let anyone touch my truck. Good luck..

Warm it up and find a level spot and check the trans fluid level.

I am still under warranty so probably best to take it into the dealer. Was just hoping I could go in there and sound like I knew what I was talking about! Lol.
Thanks for the advice! Much appreciated!
