mid throttle hesitation.

I have a 2013 ram 5.7, no major mods except diablo tuner and hemifever tuning, truck runs great from 0 to full throttle, even runs great while casual daily driving, but i have a strange issue, no matter if im on city streets or highway, if im casual driving and need to accelerate to get on the freeay, or on the freeway and need to speed up to pass i get a mid throttle hesitation, and its very noticeable, i run nothing but super-unleaded, i get no check engine lights, it has done it since i purchased it, with stock programming and with custom programming. are there any known issues with tps, or throttl body?anybody else have this issue?

That must be very annoying, I would use the Diablo to datalog the truck while it is hesitating and take a look to see if there is anything obvious. Send the datalog to your tuner and have him analysis it. And of course is your tb, air filter clean? I know there are some throttle sensitivity adjustments that can be made. But bottom line is it can be fixed. Good luck.

Unless you drive it like you stole it all the time, your PCM will learn itself to be mild mannered. One trick to recalibrate the throttle body to minimize the lag is to:
Turn the ignition key to run (do not start) and wait for all the chimes to stop.

Slowly press the throttle pedal all the way to the floor and slowly let off the throttle pedal.

Turn the ignition key off.

Now take the truck out for a drive and try to replicate the conditions you were experiencing the throttle lag before and see if that did the trick.

There is a recalibration I believe from the dealer related to something with throttle response/delay feel when accelerating someone had this issue before. Since it was there before tuning then it is likely unrelated and strictly factory issues
