Intake swap

I have access to an intake from a Challenger. My question is, if I put this intake on my truck. Will the TB be compatible with my computer? I'd really like to swap these out. As we all know the ones on the truck aren't very pretty.

Its not pretty but it provides more low end Tq compared to the car intake.

You might look at the OCP manifold...

No thank you. I'll just keep the modern stuff. I've seen what this new gasoline does to metal. I'm on my 2nd carburetor on my 68 thanks to it.

How does it do that? I would think they flowed the same. What I'm actually wanting to do, is put some half covers on it. I've been told they wont fit with the truck manifold. That's the reason I was going to change manifolds, and the fact it looks better.

Haha, by all means you should stick with plastic if it is doing what you want from it....

I know on the 03-08 the truck manifold is designed to make mor lowend tq. Where the car intake is designed for more topend hp. Takes more tq to get a heavy truck moving. The SRT intake definitely looks better. IDK if this holds true on the 09+ intakes.

Thumbs up

On these heavy beasts I would think gearing and proper camming for torque would be more important initially than the intake IMO...

My truck is a 2013 RT. It came with 4.10 gears, so bottom side isn't a problem.

Go look at a 03-08 hemi truck intake, an you'll think yours looks just fine lol. Seriously tho I wouldn't waste the time on it. Idk about your hemi but on the older style trucks I think you had to get the car timing cover an all the accessories move around as well with swap.
