To start this off with long story short with all that I have looked into and read and talked with all the Fisher dealers they say it can not be done. To keep the Winch and tow hooks and put the plow on. They all say you have to take the Winch out and take the tow hooks off. Scratch head and say Hmmmmmm.

The dealers all wanted over $500 plus just for a new set of plow frames. And all told me that the 07 frame will not fit the 11. (“it will be to wide by ¾ of a inch“)

Well here is what I and my local mechanic (who is very good and reasonable: Rare thing these days) have come up with as a fix and it does work and is rugged as all hell. But, had to call a dealer and he told him about the ¾ inch thing and had to make a shim 3/8 for each side. I told him lets just bolt it up and try it and see if we need it or not. So after we bolted the shim and the frame on and tried it can you guess how it lined up? YUP! Was 3/8 to short on each side. So had to wait till next day to get the shims out and bolt it up and try it and fit perfect. Hmmmm like I never thought that.

So after I checked and see if it fit. Had somemore welding (gussets) done and a new coat of paint.

So any way is all on and works great. And I have the only one of it’s kind now. A 2011 Power Wagon with a Fisher plow and the Winch and tow hooks still in the truck! KEWL!!
