E-Fan opinion

Anyone have any experience with a Doorman E-Fan? It supposedly and drop in, plug-n-play and has a lifetime warranty.

And on that thought, for those of you that did got to the E-Fan, what size belt did you go with after removing the blades and pulley from the water pump?

I installed the Flex-a-lite 183 E-fan kit on my 07' 3 years ago. It replaced the factory fan, fan clutch, and fan shroud. The belt is the original constantine belt, there was no reason to replace it yet. The E-fan works great, and now the water pump will last a lot longer since it no longer has the clutch fan to spin. I also freed up some horsepower, along with a slight increase in fuel economy.

You dont remove the pulley. That would eliminate the water pump.

I run the Mopar V6 fan on my trucks, but most guys go with the cheaper TYC 622320 fan. They both plug right in to the factory AC fan plug, and you do not have to change the belt. All you are doing is removing the clutch fan from the water pump pulley...not removing the water pump pulley itself.

Its a good cheap upgrade.
