Driver door adjustment?

Hi Everybody, been lurking and learning for a while, but had a question so...

So on my new 2017 Big Horn 1500 5.7L, the drivers door is off about 1/4 inch to the back door.

It's low where is meets the back door. The passenger side is 100% lined up.

Is this an easy fix, loosen the four bolts and raise it up? Or is it more complicated than that? or not adjustable at all?

It's a week old, so if it's an easy fix, I'll bring it back to the dealer and let them have a go. If they have to take half the truck apart, I'll just live with it.

It's a minor issue, on what is otherwise a perfect truck! Thanks!

Welcome to HTC.

Was it misaligned when you drove it off the car lot?

Reason I asked, if it wasn't, you might have something loose in the hinge mechanisms and that could be a safety issue. Take back to dealer for repair.

Let the warranty work for you, after all you paid for it. Take it to the dealer, have them fix any issues you have on your new truck.

Thanks for the replies!

Yea I stopped by the dealer today and the service guy is going to have the body shop gal call me Monday morning. Shouldn't be a problem at all.

One of the many benefits of living in Idaho is that people tend to still do what they say they are going to do...

If we still lived in Portland or Houston, I wouldn't wait for the call, I'd just go back Monday.
