Chrome Clad junk...

I just got back from a trip to Indiana where I had slung a tire weight. Went to my shop that have been dealing with for a decade and as they re balanced the wheel they crushed the center hole for my cap. Has anyone removed the clad and found center caps to fit? I did a chrome clad search and have found nothing in the last hour....just looking for a cheap fix.

Sometimes you can find center caps on craigslist or eBay

Thanks for the replies. The problem is finding a cap thats the right size. Stock with the clad is 2.5 in but without the clad its close to 3 in. My problem has been fixed by ordering a set of aftermarket wheels but am still curious if anyone has removed the clad and found centers that work. Could use the spare set for offroad.

Question

Since these plastic wheels are now going to be back-ups only maybe you can find a rubber grommet that your cap can fit into and still press into the 3" hole.

They crushed the wheel??? Make them replace it. Their a tire and wheel shop they should know better.
I had a problem with Dobbs when they balanced my wheels they would always screw up one or two lug nuts. they said its normal for those lugs to swell up.and they charged me 14 bucks each. Until I found out the they are using the wrong lug nut socket on them.

You will have to go to a rim shop they can measure the center cap and order some for you or at least the shop near me can in Florida. I'm thinking a good wheel/accessorie place can hook you up.

Somebody on here removed the chrome cladding from their wheels but can't remember who did it.
