65rfe has fried on me for the 5th time yay!!!!!!

so i need a solution for this is their another trans i could put on my truck to hold my power without having to modify everything i heard about 4l80 swap but those trans are to heavy and a bigg hassle to get them to work with adapters etc.... want to know my options if i dont find a solution put 65rfe and stop racing or stick with 4l80 option

Welcome to the forum. I dont know 4th gens, but there is a growing number of 3rd gens using 46rh transmissions.

For easy install, I agree with Greg. Martin Saine A518/46rh good for 700-800hp. But if your pushing 900hp. Go with the 4l80.

Dam!! Is your truck putting out that much hp? What's your 1/4 times?

Good to have you here. Good luck on the tranny quest.
I'm on number three too.

the 65 is nothing more than a glorified 545.
My 2014 RCLB I run a 428in SRT392 with the 65, pulling about [email protected] the rear wheels only reason I haven't blown the 65 is I shift it all the time unless on the highway, and I have one H.E. double hockey sticks of a good luck charm. I know I'm going to have to get a serious box in it if I want to run it hard.
This thread has a How to , and what problems charonblk07 ran into swapping a 4l80E in to his truck,
http://www.hemitruckclub.com/forums/...wap-23689.html apparently there have been a few successful Th400 installs , My plan is going to be a 518/46rh install sometime in April
Some good info in this thread, but not a fix,
65rfe performance upgrades | DODGE RAM FORUM - Dodge Truck Forums
At this point in time there is no way to put the ZF8 in the 4th Gen trucks,
as for a T-56 swap, or TKO 500/600 I do think it's possible....
Welcome to the Club and don't worry your not alone,
