Nope. After I bought my 1500 I went on the dealer's website a couple weeks later and saw the 2500 been kicking myself since wondering if it was the stronger.

Stronger yes faster no. The weight diff between the two is around 600-1000 pounds the frame is much beefier on the 2500 and the trans shift schedule is diff so it shifts diff also.

I figured the weight would be a killer but the rest I did not know.My little truck runs pretty good even with this old man driving. The other day it had a Mustang for lunch stoplight to stoplight but I believe that fella put all his money in mufflers because it sure was loud.

Do a intake, exhaust, and a tune, and you'll have more hp then him. Or just do a set a 4:56 and you'll be a lot faster then him.
