Excellent information Pup! Thanks for posting that. I do that all the time, and I usually add sm to the end of it when I get done, depending on what I want to use it for...

Irfanview is great for resizing. It's a very nice graphics tool. Free for commercial use.

IF you would like to change resolution there is a free program called "THE GIMP" it is an open source alternative to Photoshop. The learning curve is a bit high but for free software it is very powerful.

Thanks for the info. A couple of the pics I posted were edited by MrHemi to be more size friendly. The next time I post one hopefully he won't have to edit, it will be good to go. Good work Pup and thanks for the info.

Just wanted to remind those with a myspace account that myspace will now automatically resize any pic to an appropriate forum size just by uploading it to an album...its seriously like 4 mouse clicks to resize by uploading and post a pic here!

I still use paint as per the PUP.

don't have time to let photobucket or myspace rezise being on dial up and all...

can resie them and then upload all at one time if there is a bunch, when get away from the hosue with laptop...

have done so many with paint, most times i don't need the calcuator, just remember about what the % needs to be.

thank you again pup

So why is your avatar so freaking huge! Everytime I get on here, and you have posted, your pic intially loads over the entire page!.....by the way, MS Paint will resize a pic in 2 clicks!
