Notifications

Ok, help me out here. I can't figure out how to turn "off" Notifications. Every thread I post to adds another notification. I don't want to get an email on every thread I comment on. Can't figure out how to turn them off.

OK - Here's how you change these and other settings in your account...

Click on User CP up on the top nav bar (user CP = User Control Panel)

Select edit options over on the left side in the menu options

Scroll down in the center section until you see Subscription options and select the setting you want from the drop down menu

Scroll ALL the way down and click save..

There are all sorts of ways you can configure your settings in here. Also note that subscription changes affect new content not stuff you are already subscribed to.. If you want to delete those old subscriptions go back to that menu on the left side and look for the option to list and manage subscriptions. Click on the list to list and then you can delete old subscription individually or in bulk.

Thanks, Janet. I guess what I'm really confused about it all these things I am or am not subscribed to.

Also, I followed the directions you gave us Thursday in chatroom and never did find the codes for the envelopes.

I not very teachable...but I am a good cook.... and....

I had to go back and unsubscribe to everything...again. Any post I comment on sends me a notification. Guess I post to much.

Select this option to prevent new subscriptions;
