I'm dying a slow death with this transition.

My new problem is the private messaging. I know how to get there. Is there anyway to see a running commentary of the PM rather than just looking at them one comment at a time. Also, I went to reply a second time to my PM to someone else that they hadn't replied yet to my previous thing and all I could find was one response from them from about a month ago. We've been having this PM going for about 10 posts.

I'm trying to work this forum but hanging myself is still high on the option list.

Only Subscribe to things you want to know if someone has posted to..... If your just making a comment on a subject...say Birthday threads. I don't think you want an email every time someone else post a birthday wish.

Still trying to figure it all out too - even though I've been away for a year it seems we're all catching up at the same time now!

Kima you know I'm no rocket scientist on this stuff.......When your "Subscribed" to a thread you get an email every time someone makes a post on that thread. You have to "Un-subscribe" to each one OR change your subscription settings to only get Notifications once a week...... I hope I'm telling you right but I believe it to be that way.

You can unsubscribe to a thread via the Thread Tools.

I am sooooooo confused. I think my real question is am I supposed to subscribe to something or do I just get to see everything here? For the life of me I don't know how everyone thinks this is better than the old way. I guess I'm just not a bells and whistles kind of girl.....like my phone I don't need all this stuff, I just need it to ring. I'm about ready to throw in the towel.

No, you are not supposed to subscribe to threads.

It's each member's personal choice.

Some folks like to subscribe to threads they have posted in or are interested in to receive notice of any new posts.

Some folks don't subscribe to any threads as they don't want the email notifications. They prefer to browse the forums for any thread(s) they're interested in.

You can have it your way.

Today my Notification tab is on. I clicked on it and was directed to the last 6 or 7 PM's I have sent and received, going back as far as 2011. I don't need to review them again. Is this going to happen until I delete all the past PM's I have sent and received. I also still have to sign in each time as the program will not reconize the "remember me" after I sign in. As I have said I am a member on many other fourms and this is the ONLY ONE that this problem is occuring. I have not changed any of my computer settings so I'm thinking maybe it's your problem and not mine---there was no problem before we(you)changed programs. Don't mean to be short about this but it's kinda a pain in the *** to sign in everytime.
