That is great, I love the performance I have out of my truck using my SuperChips CORTEX tuner, for both the engine and transmission tuning.

I like and use SC but they usually seem to lag behind Diablo and offer fewer options for some reason. I think currently Diablo with a PCM change is your only choice for the 2015 .

It's got a better price than Diablo for sure. What kind of performance differences are there? About $200 difference, seems like there would be less options or something.

Diablo has the benefit of custom tunes for those folks that have bolted on custom goodies and for the folks that are shooting for better track times.

I prefer canned Superchips tunes since I don't race and just want to improve the street drivability of the truck. On the 93 octane tune you can feel a few extra hp and the shift rev points can be adjusted. Combined with a Sonnax tranny line booster, shifts have a firmer feel at WOT. Don't know if SC will be offering transmission tuning for the 2014s in the future.

I also traded in my old Flashpaq to the 2004 Ram, so mine came out to just over $250 for the new 2014 Ram compatable Flaspaq.

I can't afford mods to keep up with the guys at the track, but i do like to play. I don't think I'm ready for custom tunes yet anyway. I'm looking for a little extra on take off and crisper trany shift response. Plus it'll be easier to talk the wife into 300+ instead of 500+

Sonnax & 4:56's will definitely help these areas more than anything else IMO.

I googled sonnax, looks like your talking about changing out some trany parts, or is that where i should get the 4:56 gears? I currently have the 3:55 factory set up.

The Sonnax is basically a plug-n-play wiring harness adapter that takes about 5 minutes to install on the Gen. III trucks...not sure about other year models. The 4:56 gears require going into the differential and doing a 'gear swap' to get the ratio. On Gen. III it isn't all that bad - have heard it is a bit more complicated and expensive on the newer trucks especially if you go to a DTT which I highly recommend.
