ZEX system really safe???

Well this is my first post on here after reading many. Enjoy the site very much and couldnt help but join...

Is the ZEX nos system really safe for a stock motor, and not only that can the tranny take it?? Seems like the cheapest hp you can get. Getting new cat back put on as we speak with high flow magnaflow dual in single out cat....Plan to do CAI but dont know which one, super chips or some programmer;havent decided which, electric fans and 180 thermo.

The nos just seems to good to be true and really be safe on stock parts, any help is appreciated.

And again...HELLO ALL

if you do the mods that you listed (and add colder plugs to your list) before you install the nitrous you can safely spray 125-150 shot on the stock engine. I have read guys doing this for years with no issues to the engine. Important note, when using the superchips (which I think is the best programmer out there for us right now) make sure you load the 87 tune when using nitrous, it pulls the timing which will be needed when spraying. The tranny can hold it as long you do not shift into 4th gear at WOT

I'm only shooting 75 and would run maybe max 125 if I didn't use my truck as my main means of commuting. ZEX Hemi truck system is your safest bet for a plug and play nitrous system for our trucks.

Matt

As long as you follow the rules with nitrous and don't get greedy you will be fine.

There are a lot of posts on the subject.

The trans will survive if:

You don't force downshift and hit the N2O.

And don't hit 4th gear while spraying.

75 shot is a safe start.

Search nitrous for a list of the posts.
