Wot switch

where did you guys mount your switch for the 5.7?
Im allmost done all my wiring and need to mount the wide open throttle switch?

I hold mine. I know of people putting it under the pedel though.

I have a push button wire I was thinking about useing... but i rather have a setup that is linked to throttle some how... no way I want to drill holes in floor for this switch... any way to mount it in the engine compartment to a linkage or something?

I used a WOT micro switch mounted above the pivot on the bracket that holds the pedal assembly, i just reversed the switch so it faces in and made a longer bracket, seems to work good, no holes through sheet metal or holes where people could see

you can also purchase electonic TPS switches, dynotunes is 69 bucks

BnB4Ever, You'll be glad you shut it off at 5500. I've seen what no2 will do to the hub assemblies of the tranny if you spray it through the shifts.

Im in contact with the builder now about the adjustable RPM window switch... Im on a few forums trying to get some info or feedback about it.

heres another find for ya... for a clean way to mount your gauges is ya dont like the Pillar arm idea.
