stock rev limiter??

do I need to get a super chips to raise the rev limiter to run nitrous or am I ok with the stock setting??

and I know on the 03's they say to get an 04 fuel pump for the added pressure but is there any inline pump you can get or is the 04 replacement the best option?

You would be ok with the stock rev limit (5800).

SuperChips would eliminate the torque management issues, improve your shift points, and make them adjustable so you can find out where your truck runs the best.

04 and up fuel pump is your best bet..you don't want to run lean...ever.

You are fine with the stock rev limiter, I would suggest investing in a rpm switch for the juice though just to be on the safer side.

I didn't think the SC tuner for 03's had adjustable shifts or any tranny torque management due to the tranny having a stand alone puter...????

I think, and I stress "THINK" that on the 03 with stock settings you are okay up to a 75 shot past that you need to upgrade to an 04/05 fuel pump, also make sure to push the tow/haul button when you spray and run a colder stage plug like the NGK 4306

I have run a 125 shot on my 03 and still have a factory fuel pump, but soon will be replacing it with the 04 yr model, but the colder plugs and tow/haul button is a must

Duane - get an A/F guage on your truck and see what you have been missing!

I ran a 150 on my 03. There is tourqe managment but that is easy to get around. Also, if you have the Tow/Haul, leave it off performance drops with it on.

yeah super chips gets rid of the torque management but doesn't allow me to adjust shift points it has pre-set ones tho I think but us 03 dudes got the shaft there

I keep going back and forth on getting nitrous because the one place I knew that filled it by me closed and now I may have found another place

also the risk of blowing the motor
