You Know you have been bitten when ............

Hi Guys,
It's Oldmanram, so I received my heads for my 392 stroker build , and I am just getting ready to throw the cam in, just sitting in my chair looking at the short block ......... AND it hits ........ I start thinking ... Well on my next motor maybe I do a little MORE to the heads ......... and what happens if I push the cam specs up a little maybe another 4* of duration , and next time ........
and then I go ,,, wait ,, stop ... I haven't even got this thing together and I'm fantasizing about my next one .........
HELP !!!!

Anyone know the telephone number for HEMI"S ANONYMOUS ????

Don't mean to upset you but, There is no 12 point program to help us HEMI addicts.

Lol I know exactly what you are feeling. I have my 5.7 stroker engine and boosted it is more than the street can handle. So where did I get this idea to build a max effort 6.1 stroker? I honestly don't remember what started it..... well someone must of said something.... that got me going... I'm working on trying to buy a 78 D150, if that happens I will stick a g3 in it...

Just think were Motorsport racing would be if Don Garlits seeked treatment for his addiction to acceleration .

It's a hard habit to break ... but lack of money keeps it in check for a lot of us.

Denial, oh hell NO!!

Do I need help with my addiction? NOT!! Lack of funds and wanting to put food on the table keep things in balance. Doesn't stop the urge though.
