What Lifters to use on mild stroker build

So I'm gathering up parts for my stroker build, 392 mild Daily Driver, using the Manley Kit . The cam I am going to use is not big , and yes, I still have the 2003 PCM , for now. And the question of lifters came up. After some searching , and confusion, I was decided on Hylift Johnson , but as I go to order , there's the question of which Hylift Johnson lifter ??
stock Hylift Johnson # B2335
slow leak Hylift Johnson #B2335SE or
Race Hylift Johnson #A2335R
So which do I use if I'm building a NA motor with a stocker type cam , say a
Comp Cams 260 , or equivalant, nothing EXTREME, Daily Driver Hauler , probably 6,500 rpm motor ?
Any Opinions ???

For a 6500 rpm motor I would go with the slow leak Hylift Johnson #B2335SE.. but I'd talk with your engine builder for advice.

Thanks Redtruck ,
That's the one I was leaning to after reading the description , but I always like checking around with you guys to see what does or doesn't work.

Just an FYI, the Comp 260 is to small for a stroker motor. I’d recommend at least a 268 if not the 273. The 273 is about the size Keith and myself are running. Below is a link to a 100 hp gain on a stock bottom end using the 273. In this article they talk about the 260 and the 273. Last time I check, their cams were all the same price. If you're looking for a smoother idle, I would maybe check out having a custom cam ground by Jay Greene. I’m sure he could cut you a stroker Cam, That doesn’t leave all the power on the table as the 260 would. Just my .02. Good luck.

We have suggested this to him a number of times, heís been set on trying to do this on his 03 pcm. I think itís going to be a huge headache that can be avoided, but if he is dead set on it, itís his time and money.

Hey, it sounds like me and my 03....

You can tune an 03 but, you can't change the rev limiter(5800rpm), shift points, or speed limiter(key trick). Don't try and add boost. It gets ugly there...

Keith, can you raise the displacement and tune an n/a 03 pcm?

We can tune them ish! I tuned Greg to around 6lbs with a cam but he had high idle mod. Tuning a 2003 is tricky it’s best to get a 2005 pcm and be done less hassle
