Weird thing with P0430 and P0420

I have '09 Hemi and I have this weird thing with my truck.
When I drive on straight road, the truck runs fine and does not throw any codes.
When I have to go on a bumpy road (like 2-3 inches deep) within like 3-5 mins I have codes coming up (still running fine). Before it was just one P0430, and last time I read it it was two codes P0430 and P0420.
It's super weird because I can drive for like 2K miles on the paved road - no problem. When I drive on a bumpy one - codes come up.
The exhaust manifolds bolts were replaced by someone before me and they are still good. No halos around engine exhaust.
The truck has 186K miles right now.
Could anyone help me where should I look before spending money on O2 and CAT?

Ok this is a weird one that's for sure. Smooth roads good bumpy roads bad. Get under the truck cold and bang on the down pipes and see if you hear any rattle type noises like the cats are coming loose or apart. If there is no noise then either you have bad carts (odd how road makes a diff) or the 02 sensors may be really crappy and the changing throttle pedal on the bumpy roads vs smooth is freaking the sensors out.

Yeah. I will try that. Although when I was checking the exhaust manifold studs I didn't hear anything when I shook the pipes...
I have to change front wheel bearing today/tomorrow so I'll lift the truck and double check for the noise.

You won't be able to shake the cats by hand you'll need to smack them with a rubber mallet to make them rattle.

I changed the oil last night along with the front wheel bearing.
And I had chance to check the cats. I banged both banks with a rubber mallet but no rattling noise... just nothing. And I hit them as hard as I could...
grrrr
