this may be the wrong section for this topic but i was wondering what people here are doing to there transmissions in terms of up grading. and where people are getting there parts from, im not shure if i will be ok just running stock internals and then just getting a good shift kit and a better converter. also where are people getting shift kits from? im thinking something of a mild kit like a towing kit, or along those lines.
any and all info will be appreciated, thanks for your time.

I am not a trans guru, but what I see is that the line pressure is key to the life of the trans. Especially when tuning is involved as it modifies the MAP voltage which is one of the key inputs controlling line pressure. I have a Miller test adaptor to monitor line pressure. The pressure fluctuated so much it shortly damaged the sensor I had. But I saw <30 psig at cruise which to my thinking is not enough pressure. My recommendation is to keep a eye on your pressure and understand what makes it fluctuate to reduce clutch slipage. Good luck..

Just contact white lightning (Dave) for a tranny tune & get a TransGo re-programing kit.

Dave has worked wonders on mine & a few others in the FL Chapter. Very Highly Recomended.

Thanks, Al! I appreciate your faith in me.

thing is, some years and models don't have trans support. so sometimes there is no trans file to even try my voodoo on.
