Throttle response help

I've read a few threads on this issue in the older Rams...I'm having the same issue. At highway speeds or even in the city, if I need to get around someone I can count 1, 1000, 2, 1000.... It takes almost 5 seconds after I punch it for it to figure out that I want to go!

It just falls on its face for a bit. So without buying the 600 tuner, is there a fix for this?

I really don't have any mods that I think would cause it to do this.

2014 5.7 L sport
K&N CAI
Flowmaster Ex.

40,000 miles

Thoughts? Thanks!

Def should not be lagging like that.

Do you have the 6 or 8 speed?

You still under warranty?

something's definitely not quite right....any dash lights? A tuner won't fix what doesn't work correctly already....

does it feel like the engine is hesitating or the trans just isn't downshifting? It learns as you drive and if you tend to baby it around all the time it can learn to not downshift for better mileage. Maybe try a pcm reset. It should erase everything it learned and drive like it did off the lot.

Plugs are on my to do list for sure. It's got a K&N CAI, and the filter was cleaned last month. TB looked fine.

Reset is next up. Lets see... It's not hesitating, it just doesnt respond for 5 seconds. It's as if it's given you a second chance to think about how much gas you want it to drink up. lol
