thoughts on build

I want my 04 1500 5.7 to have 600+ rwhp. I plan on doing it over time taking it part by part. I was just curious as to what route that you would take to get there in your own truck if you were to do it? Its not going to be a show truck it will be a street truck.

Heres what I was thinking so far

headers, cam, pushrods, springs, 6.1 heads, 392 or 410 stroker kit, twin turbo or supercharger, built tranny with 3200 stall convertor, intake manifold, 4:56 gears, chip, and if need be 100-200 shot of nos, no cat nor muffler with turn downs and I'm sure I'm missing a thing or 2.

Headers 5.7 heads stroker cam(push rods springs the whole 9) and blower on 10psi 600 all day. No nitrous needed just meth for safety buffer and good to go. Will have nice street manners and be enjoyable!

Thanks, from what I'm thinking sounds like i can push it past 600hp then. I honestly can't decide between twin turbos or a pro charger. I planned on meth but need to do some research on which kit to buy because its new to me. I have heard about it and never really looked into it until recently. I see kits anywhere from $350-$600. Are there other parts you would recommend replacing during this process? I only use RP for all my parts that use oil. Also I was recommended a forged short block replacement, is that neccesary to support 600+hp instead of my stock short block? Another thing I was recommended is to change my intake manifold and was highly recommended a certain one but honestly can't remember the one I was told.

Go Big! It's going to cost you for that much rwhp/tq. $$$$$$. Get an SRT8 Jeep with a turbo kit from Stage 6 Motorsports.

What are your plans for suspension on your 4x4?

As of right now I haven't got that far yet. My plan is to get on paper exactly what I want to do starting with the motor work, gear work, tranny, then suspension and whatever else after that. I already have new MOOG upper control arms with ball joints, new MOOG lower ball joints, new MOOG inner and outer tie rods and a reman rack and pinion.

My advice is decide on at least tire sizes. Once that's done you have an idea of the look it'll have. And of course this is determined by what you are using the truck for.
