Questions on Timing Chain & Tensioner

Hi Guys,
So I'm waiting for my ATK 392 stroker short block to show up , and I have most of parts.... but I had a question on the timing chain/gears and tensioner . I've read a couple threads on here and other forums. There doesn't seem to be a consensus on which to use, I know chris had a little trouble getting his hughes timing set/key figured out (chris's 6.4 stroker build) , and I have heard that some tensioners are better than others . I am going to just be putting the cam in straight up , but an adjustable set may be nice for down the road in case I swap out to a bigger cam down the road and want to advance it.

What timing set are you guys using ? or recommend ?

What tensioner set are you guys using ? or recommend ?

I also remember reading that someone had trouble fitting a double roller on there motor , something about a threaded plug and clearance issues . ??

thank you in advance !!

If this is going to be a street driven truck. The stock 6.1 timing chain and 6.1 exhaust valve springs will be fine. If your adding much stronger springs for boost, then a performance timing chain would be a good investment.

Has anybody used the Melling 405 series timing set/tensioner ?
Has adjustable timing but just a single roller chain,

From my research the 6.1 set is the same as the 5.7, but it has a few more leafs in the tensioner pack to make it stronger.

From what I have read
The 6.1 tensioner has 4 leafs and the 5.7 has 2 leafs but also
the tensioner material itself is different, with the 6.1 material SUPPOSEDLY stronger and less likely to groove as much.
Those are OEM tensioners , but what about the aftermarket stuff ,
How good are the tensioners on the aftermarket sets ?

Melling 40540 (single roller)
Manley 73205 or 73206 ? 73206 has thrust bearing (needed ?)
Howards 94332 (yaitsahemi) chime in

and not to mention
cloyes ?
comp cams ?

In my experience with auto parts
"You get what you pay for"
I'd rather overbuild than underbuild and have to do it again !!
